"ON THE CONTRARY, I THINK IT MEANS THAT YOU EAT WITH UNDERSTANDING AND WITH GRATITUDE. A SIGNIFICANT PART OF THE PLEASURE OF EATING IS IN ONE'S ACCURATE CONSCIOUSNESS OF THE LIVES AND THE WORLD FROM WHICH FOOD COMES." WENDELL BERRY.

— MELISSA MARTIN, CHEF & OWNER

Our Menu

Our suppers are about telling a story of fishermen and life on the bayou. Because of that our menu is primarily seafood based and vegetable forward. We do not substitute menu items but can accommodate dietary restrictions and allergies with advanced notice. Menu is subject to change based on seasonal availability. We have a full bar of classic cocktails, natural wines, and local beers that can be purchased during supper.

Our Story

Mosquito Supper Club first came to life in 2013 as a pop-up in the Bywater neighborhood of New Orleans. After a stint in the French Quarter, we settled into a residential space on Dryades Street in 2016. Brainchild of Chef Melissa Martin, Supper Club is a reaction to the mainstream restaurant industry and is structured to bring people together from all walks of life for a family meal. Our goal for every supper is to tell the story of the fishermen and farmers through the ingredients on the plate.

Our Impact

Mosquito Supper Club is a tiny restaurant. Here are some things we are proud of. Here some things we are proud of. We pay all of our employees $15 and above. We compost all of our food waste and scraps. We pay for a recycling company and recycle all our plastic, cardboard, and glass. We support a local female landscaper co. and flower farm. We buy every single protein we use locally and religiously support local farmers, fishermen, bakers, & millers - to put the very best on our table. We don’t flip tables. We are reservation only so we don’t waste food. We are always striving to make the space and restaurant more sustainable.
